Themed weddings continue to grow in popularity. With so many pop culture movies, books, and characters, mega fans take the opportunity to blend what they love with whom they love. Having a themed wedding provides plenty of design opportunities to make a truly unique invitation.
Keep Your Wedding Designs Clean and Simple
Before starting the design, make a list of the important information that your guests will need to see. Things like date, time, location, and any additional information shouldn’t be obstructed or take a backseat to the other elements of the invitation. Use color, contrasting fonts, and layout arrangements to make these easily readable and attractive.
The Best Wedding Invitation Designs Use High Resolution Photography
If you are using photography elements in your design, always make sure you check that the resolution is 300 dpi. This can be an easily made mistake for those not familiar with creating designs for print. For best results, print an early draft to see which elements are working and which need to be improved. The transition from screen to print can be tricky.

I liked that you mentioned before starting the design, make a lit of the important information when you are planning your wedding invitation. My sister is getting married, and we are looking for advice to help her with the invitation. I like how you said to make a list of important information that your cards will need before you make them. My fiance and I want our wedding to be perfect and so we also want our invitations to be perfect. Forgetting important information on our invitations would be so sad.
